    Question

Is it possible to create new ARC users?

    Answer

No, you are not allowed to create new ARC users.

Every ARC user is linked to a valid license of the underlying Cognos BI Software. It is not possible to create new users.

If you are interested in adding a new user to your ARC system, please contact Ex Libris to send you an offer to purchase these licenses.

    Additional Information

    Available ARC user types:

    • Professional author (allowed to use Report Studio and Query Studio)
    • Business author (allowed to use Query Studio)
    • Consumer (able to execute reports)

More details about ARC users can be found at: Users Configuration for ARC 4.0
