    Description:
Today (July 16, 2008) loans for the ABCDE sublibrary are receiving a due date of May 30, 2008 -- which is a date in the past.

The tab16 ABCDE lines which have a loan period of 14 days or 28 days have this problem. The lines with a period of 120 days have the correct due date (a date in the future).

    Resolution:
An examination of the ABC50 z301 confirmed the pattern we were seeing in the Active Due Dates.

The z301 is built from tab16 and tab17. The tab16 entries for ABCDE looked OK, but when the tab17 lines were replaced by those for a different (working) sublibrary, the problem went away. The problem tab17 lines had about 20 dates in the table twice.
