    Question

Why was a Lost Material Bill produced for Claimed Returned item?

    Answer

Though the Service usually used to produce xxx50 overdue notices / Lost bills is cir-51, the xxx50 $data_print file which contains this Lost notice is "lost_overdues_March5", and, checking in $alephe_scratch, I find that the job which produced this file was xxx50_p_cir_50.02404.

The cir-50 Help states: "This service enables you to print out overdue notices to send to patrons and billing notices for lost and "claimed returned" items. " The "Type of Notice" specified in the xxx50_p_cir_50.02404 submission parameters was "All".

    Additional Information

This confirms KB 16384-24641 ("Can only p_cir_50 be used to bill Claims Returned loans?").
