    Description:
In version 19, I go to Circulation / Offline Circulation. Then I select Return and enter the item barcode of an item that is checked out and Lost. Then I click the Return button. The offline Circ file is created on my computer. When I send the file to the server, I get a message in the Check Report: "Lost or Claimed Returned item has been returned". However, when I look up the item, it is still checked out and Lost.

Is there a check I can change or any other way that I can return Lost items through Offline Circulation?

    Resolution:
The message "Lost or Claimed Returned item has been returned" is number 0203 in ./error_eng/pc_cir_c0434.

The pc_cir_c0434 program issues this message when the Z36-STATUS is "L" or "C". It then goes (unconditionally) to EXIT-OFFLINE-RETURN (without returning the item).

The v18 pc_cir_c0434 program does exactly the same thing.

I believe this has been done because Lost items which are returned often require follow-up.
