    Description:
With the upgrade to v19, we see that "PlainAttachment" in GUI's alephcom.ini is no longer viable. A new setting in tab100 to avoid attachments (PLAIN-ONLY=Y) appears to be able to be set in the alephe/tab directory. However, it doesn't seem to be able to set in the local alephe (/exlibris/aleph/campus/xxx/alephe), but only in the /exlibris/aleph/u19_1/alephe/tab/tab100.

Being a consortium, library staff at some sites want attachments and some don't so setting this parameter for all in the shared area is not an option for us. We already have the individual patron records set with z303_plain_html=P for these sites so we are really just wanting to verify that PLAIN-ONLY parameter cannot be used in campus alephe tab100 table.

    Resolution:
The following grep's of the www_server log show that the servers are *not* looking at the /exlibris/aleph/campus/xxx/alephe/tab:

    >grep campus www_server_4500.log > jswwwlog
    >grep 'alephe/tab' jswwwlog
    >

They are looking at the /exlibris/aleph/u19_1/alephe/tab/ only.
