Patron has over 1 overdue items in the item sub-library

Question

When renewing items through My Account in the OPAC or in GUI there are error messages like:
Renew: Patron has over 1 overdue items.
Patron has over 1 overdue items in the item sub-library
How to avoid this?

Answer

The "... overdue items" message is $alephe_error_eng/check_circ message # 0241.
The "... overdue items in the item sublibrary" message is $alephe_error_eng/check_circ message # 0251.

These messages are invoked by the ./xxx50/tab/ tab_check_circ check_circ_9_a and check_circ_9_b, respectively.

These checks consult the tab_block_circ table to see how many overdue items should trigger blocking.

Patron 134381732 has a status of "02":

z36_bor_status ..............02

So this line in the cun5/tab/tab_block_circ is the relevant line:

##### 02 ##### 01 01 5.00

The "01" in column 4 means that 1 overdue item will trigger blocking. Since this patron has three overdue items, the block is triggered.
