    Patron notices window is not shown when patrons log on to the Web OPAC

    Description

    Information about any notices to patrons (cash transactions, delinquencies etc.) is only shown in the library card when the patron has logged in but should be displayed during the login process immediately.

    Resolution

    Please have a look at the following parameters in $alephe_root/www_server.conf:

     

            setenv patron_notice_delinq         N

            setenv patron_notice_cash           Y

            setenv patron_notice_overdue        N

            setenv patron_expiry_alert          000

     

    They decide whether a message is displayed immediately when a patron is logging in or if the message is only displayed in the library card. For more information refer to the
