    Description:
We are disappointed that Aleph cannot accommodate printing hold request call slips and letters ad hoc (singularly without running a report) if the hold request is not for today’s date. We would like you to consider changing this feature so that any hold request can be printed as needed without changing the date to today’s.

We are not a lending institution, and many times our librarians and archivists like to pull material a day or two in advance of a patron's visit. However, this workflow is encumbered by our inability to print those singular hold requests without editing the hold request date. This is a serious nuisance for us, and we would appreciate it if you consider changing the hard coding in this regard so that we have the option to print hold requests for future dates, not just today’s, without running the full reports.

    Resolution:
Looking at the Hold Request function in version 20, I find that it is different.

I find that I am able to print a Hold Slip regardless of the Request Date.

Site will get this function with v20.
