    Problem displaying location/call number in OPAC brief view for course reserves

    Description:
    In v18, we used the PST to display the location & call number information in the brief view of the OPAC for Course Reserves. For the union view in v19 Course Reserves, PST doesn't work. I've tried using different expanded fields but the only one I've found that works is ITM+ which isn't what we want. We want to display the location & call number information. Is this possible?

    Resolution:
    We have found that the PST can work in the Brief List (or WEB-FULL) when the

    WEB-BRIEF expand_doc_merge_union_crs

    line precedes the

    WEB-BRIEF expand_doc_bib_loc_n_x

    lines.

    Section 3.3 of "How to Set Up and Configure a Union View for Your OPAC" (How To -- Cataloging on Doc Portal) says this: "Union View libraries should use the ITM1 and/or the ITM3 links to display holdings in the Web OPAC. LOC and PST expands do not work in a Union View environment."

    But none of the ITM* codes have options to include call numbers or circ availability.

    The document has been changed to indicate that the LOC and PST can be used.
