    Proxy User Denied permission to access Items Menu or Services

    Problem Symptoms:
    'Permission denied ?€˜ error message when proxy user tries to access items menu or services even though they have permission

    Cause:
    Aleph does not automatically reconnect proxy users to the xxx50 library from the xxx01 library, which causes a permission denied error message.

    Resolution:
    Connect to the xxx50 library in the GUI when accessing items services or menus.

      • All fields in bib record are often greyed out, although the proxy user is allowed to work on different tags
      • ps -ef | grep httpd" doesn't show apache processes
