    • Product Version: 20, 21, 22, 23
    • Relevant for Installation Type: Dedicated-Direct, Direct, Local, Total Care

    Description

With the upgrade of the enterprise systems and the addition of smartcards to the university's identity management structure, we have started to investigate the Aleph patron picture process we will be using the smartcard number (numeric) with the pictures in "jpg" format.

Rather than loading the pictures into the $usr_library/bor_pics directory, can we set a configuration to point to our picture repository for example to “\\PICREPOSITORY\Data\Groups\ID Badging\”?

    Resolution

The only other possibility would be to have a disk shared between the two servers and define the bor_pics directory as a logical link (soft link) to the shared location.
