    Searching by call number “340/HER/art” doesn’t find any records.

    Resolution:
    In the filing routine (23) for call number index (see xxx01/tab/tab11_acc and xxx01/tab/tab_filing) the slash is changed to blank:

    Util f/01
    Enter Filing Procedure (Q to quit)
    Enter values as defined in Col. 1 of tab_filing: 23
    Enter values D/N/F or Space:
    Enter text (Q to quit) : 340/HER/art
    IN -340/HER/art -
    Load: /tmp/utf_files/exlibris/aleph/u18_1/upb01/tab/tab_filing
    Load: /exlibris/aleph/u18_1/alephe/unicode/unicode_case
    Load: /exlibris/aleph/u18_1/alephe/unicode/tab_character_conversion_line

    OUT -340 HER ART -

    So when you search for " 340/HER/art" you won't find the according record. You will find it when searching for "340 HER ART".
