    Description:
I was testing out some services in circulation in version 20, and p-cir-10 returns the error "Failed to open file C:\AL500\Circ\files\ABC50\Services\p-cir-10.xml ..." when I try to run it.

I downloaded the default p-cir-10.xml file from a20_2/aleph/pc_b_eng and placed it in the appropriate folder in the C drive to see if it would work that way, and I got the same error. Any ideas what might be causing this?

    Resolution:
The message indicates that the Circ client is looking in the .\Circ\files\ABC50\ directory on your pc and not finding the p-cir-10.xml file.

Do you find *other* files in the .\SBS50\Services directory ... or is it empty?

If empty, please check the .\Catalog\files\SYS01\Services\ directory in a similar fashion.

Note: The p-xxx-nn.xml files are loaded dynamically from the server as you invoke services which require them. So it's *not* the case that the .xml files for all the services you might invoke should already be in this \files directory on your pc.
