    Description:
How do I change the amount of time a returned reserved item is held for a patron before being the reserve is cancelled?

    Resolution:
When a hold request is placed there are two fields to fill in: "From date" and "To date". You can use these to change how long the hold request will be active.

Further, you can change the defaults of what these dates will be. It will always start with today, and then the "to date" will be for a determined amount of time.

For GUI define the pc_z37_date_to in pc_server_defaults.
For web define the www_z37_date_to in www_server.conf

    See also KB 3201.
