    Description:
We are getting the message "This station (IP address) cannot loan items belonging to VOLU - Volunteer Library", both in loaning items and in returning them. The PC has a Workstation Identifier of "VOLU".

Oddly, "Fast Circulation" mode appears to work fine.

    Resolution:
The $aleph_tab/server_ip_allowed entries had "SID-" prefixes, therefore, the STATION-ID needed to be "SID-VOLU" not "VOLU".

The following test can be used to diagnose:

    1. Note the ip_address of the pc

    2. Note the LOGIN of the operator

    3. Note the sublibrary of the item

    4. Note the time of day

    5. Attempt to perform the loan.

    6. Send a screenprint of the error screen -- along with the preceding info -- to Ex Libris Support.
