Description:
We have been unable to new BIB records added to the TEST region by any given criteria i.e. system number, author, title, subject.

Resolution:
As seen in the Oct.12 $data_scratch/run_e_01.15959 log, the ue_01 indexing daemon terminated because it was running when Oracle was shut down:

HANDLING DOC NO. - ABC01.000263474 09:23:27

Oracle error: update_cursor1 z07
ORA-03113: end-of-file on communication channel

Oracle error: update_cursor1 z07
ORA-03114: not connected to ORACLE

It has not been running since Oct. 12. The following SQL shows that there are 77 z07 indexing requests waiting to be processed:

SQL-ABC01> select count(*) from z07;
**** Hit return to continue ****

COUNT(*)
----------
77

I suggest that you start the ue_01 -- using util e/1 -- and see if the entries you are looking for are not then indexed.
