Unknown Item_Status_Desc Entries in ARC

Description:
We are having trouble with the Item_Status_ID and the Item_Status_Desc fields in ARC. Please explain the following problems:
1. Why is there is a - (i.e. a dash) Item_Status_ID entry? When this column and Item_Status_Desc are added in Query Studio the list shows entries like this example (one for each library).

2. The rest of the Item_Status_ID entries seem correct until one looks at their corresponding Item_Status_Desc entries. They show a long list like this example:

This messes up our reports. I pulled the barcodes to see which items were getting these unknown Item Statuses in order to check the source data. However, the data in Aleph is correct. Is the problem in the way the tab15.eng table is converted, perhaps the XXXXX lines at the end of the table?
3. The tables in ARC are also missing some Item Statuses.

Resolution:
Using LIBX entries as an example, in ARC you see:
01 Regular Loan
03 No Loan
04 In Library Use
32 3-hour Loan
07 UnKnown- LIBX,07
- UnKnown- LIBX,-

In tab15.eng are listed:

There is no LIBX 07 entry in tab15.eng, so it appears in ARC as unknown because of a record whose Z30H-Item-Status = ‘07’, i.e., Z30H-Barcode = ‘0000195009’.

The “- UnKnown- LIBX” entry is cause by a record whose Z30H-Item-Status is blank, i.e., Z30H-Barcode = ‘31023947030’

Z30H change data newer than 1-Jan-2004 (using the Z30H_H_DATE field) is included in the reports by the arc_conf_table.conf entry
