    Description:
We are getting a "Username xxxx does not exist" message ("Remote Service Error c0101 1" or "Remote Service Error c0104 text") trying to log on to the GUI for certain users which *do* (as seen in util f/4) have z66 records.

If we click through the error and connect to the local library (ABCNN) we can work in the library.
The user "ALEPH" does not get this message, but is unable to perform the functions we need.
Also, when we select "ALEPH > Connect to" and connect to our library, its name does not have a black dot to the left which would show that it is the default library.

    Resolution:
Edit the Acq, Cataloging, or Circ .../tab/per_lib.ini on your pc so that your local xxxnn library is at the top.

The system is trying, in the case of GUI Cataloging, to connect to the first bib library in .\Cataloging\tab\per_lib.ini (or, in the case of Circ, the first in .\Circ\tab\per_lib.ini). If this is the USM01 (or USM50) library, then it is automatically looking in the usr00 z66 rather than the local $pw_library z66. {When a USMnn (demo) library is connected to, the system is hard-coded to look for the username and password in the USR00 z66 table (See Article 000039009 ("Is the USR00 library needed? ") for more on this feature.)

    Additional Information

When a USMnn (demo) library is connected to, the system is hard-coded to look for the usernames and passwords in the USR00 z66 table (-- rather than the local $usr_library z66). See Article 000039009 ( Is the USR00 library needed?  ) for more on this.
