    Description:
    We would like to know allow a patron to use 2 separate barcodes to check out material using the self check machines.

    We have set up our tables so that a patron record can have 2 barcodes that will allow a patron to use either barcode at the circulation desk or in the OPAC. We have tried to set tab_sip2.conf so that match_id_type =-01,04 -- but this did not seem to work.

    Resolution:
    Please see these new rep changes:

    18.01 - rc #2044
    19.01 - rc #629
    20.01 - rv #16030 (already in the version)

    Description: This has been solved by introducing the following new functionality:

    The following can now be defined in tab_sip2.conf:

    match_id_type = auto

    In this case, the patron-ID in SIP2 is checked against col. 5 of $usr_library/tab/tab_bor_id.lng. If col. 5 is set to "Y", this ID type can be used in SIP2. Thus, all ID-types that can be used for GUI, can also be used in SIP2. Multiple ID types can be checked if defined in tab_bor_id.lng.

    NOTE: It is possible to set a particular ID-type in match_id_type (e.g. match_id_type = 02), as before this fix. The default is match_id_type = 01.
