    Question

    The $alephe_tab/license file MAX-DOC-NUMBER is 1500000, while the actual number of bib records is 2000000.  Is this a problem?

    Answer

    The MAX-DOC-NUMBER license parameter is not used by the programs and can be ignored.

    {Note: there is a limit (80K -- hardcoded in the programs) to the number of doc records which can be in a demo library (such as USM01).}
