    Description:
What is the maximum possible value for NeedByDate in ill.ini? I tried to set it to 9999 but then ILL client stops working.

    Resolution:
This function (like many other C/C++-routines) is influenced by the so called Y2038-problem. Dates and times beyond early 2038 (exactly 3:14:07 AM GMT on January 19,2038), cannot be represented. See for example http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2038_problem for more information.

So for example today October 27, 2011 maximum possible value would be NeedByDate=9580 to define "Need by date" January 18, 2038.
But in this case tomorrow October 28 the client will be not working anymore.

So our suggestion is to set this value to much lower value (e.g. 8000).
