What jobs need to be preceded by file backups?

Resolution:
Any job which is changing records in a file based on user-input values should be preceded by a backup. (If the job is loading new records only, then backup is not as critical.)

When the file being updated is the doc file, the best strategy is to use p_file_03 to back-up *just* the records which you will be updating. See KB 3953 for p_manage_36 and KB 8192-496 for p_manage_21 and _37 in this regard.
