    Description:
I have modified edit_field, but my change appears then is removed from ABC60.Z13U after a few seconds..

    In tab22, I had this :
    USER-DEF-1 2 109

    In edit_paragraph, I had this :
    109 SYS## D ^[ ]##
    109 856## D ##
    109 852## D ##
    109 866## D -^ ##
    109 867## D -^ ## A
    109 868## D -^ ## A
    109 863## Z -^ ##
    109 URL## D -^ ## A

Now I added the last line here in edit_field :
    1 # 852## D B
    2 4
    2 5 ^;^
    !2 h ^;^
    !2 i ^;^
    2 h ^
    2 i ^
    2 j ^;^
    2 l ^;^
    2 z ^

After saving a ABC60 record, I see the 852$z is added to Z13U, but after a few seconds, the older value is back. Why?

Even if no edit_fields and edit_paragraph files, the value NULL is then replaced with the older value.

    Resolution:
As noted in KB 8192-2329, the z13 and z13u index records are updated both immediately upon sending the record to the server and, later, by ue_01.

These cases where the change appears initially and then disappears are almost always a case where the pc_server (which does the immediate update) has been restarted, but the ue_01 (which does the subsequent update) has not.

Note: both the abc01 and the abc60 ue_01daemons needed to be restarted.
