    Description:
UTIL-G-2 has a "last-word-number" counter. What is this counter, how is it used, and what value should it have?

    Resolution:
The last-word-number counter is used by the p_manage_01 (Words) job and by io_z97, generally, to assign the z97_rec_number (a unique value assigned to each word, referenced in z98). This SQL can by used to locate the highest current z97_rec_number: select max(z97_rec_number) from z97; (This should give you a 9-digit number.) If the last-word-number has been lost, this will give you the correct value to use. (Note: The value in UTIL-G-2 usually appears without leading zeroes; you should probably eliminate those.)
