    Description:
We have 4 million bib records. We are getting the following errors in running indexing jobs:

    Oracle error: io_z103_write
ORA-30036: unable to extend segment by 1024 in undo tablespace 'UNDOTS
    40041 READING DOC 003940040 AT 04:02:17

I resized the UNDOTS1 tablespace to 2G while the jobs are running. It is now using approximately 78 percent of the UNDOTS1, and it is growing. We're running p_manage_12 and p_cir_25 right now.

Is the UDOTS sized correctly? And do I need to increase the undo retention from 10800 to ??

    Resolution:
Yes, with your size of database and the amount of ADM, you should increase the UNDO TS. Please double its size to 4GB.

You should not need to increase undo retention.
