    upgrade_util: "setenv: Too many arguments"

    • Product: Aleph
    • Product Version: 20, 21, 22, 23
    • Relevant for Installation Type: Dedicated-Direct, Direct, Local, Total Care

    Description

After installing an Upgrade Express kit, the upgrade_util command doesn't work.  It gives the error message "setenv: Too many arguments."

    Resolution

The upgrade_express_2m01_2n01 kit had been downloaded and installed in the /exlibris/aleph/a23_1/alephm/ directory.  As shown in the "Upgrading to Aleph Version 20-23: Upgrade Express: Actual Run" document (and other Upgrade Express documents) the kit needs to be installed in the /exlibris/aleph directory.  When installed there, the setenv error doesn't occur.
