    Description:
    We have received an EDI file from Harrassowitz and even though the subscription start/end dates are in the item section of the EDI file, the dates are not being loaded into Aleph (the information is not getting written into the corresponding XML file). I have tried to compare the file to a Swets EDI file that did work for us but I can't see what fields are missing.

    On our production server, the HARR file is in: u18_1/abc50/edi/in/edi_processed/07nov08.edi.boc3
    The Swets EDI file that worked is in: abc50/in/edi_processed/id0386688081028_5200094296.edi

    Why did the Swets EDI file load the subscription start/end dates in the proper fields and the HARR file did not?

    Resolution:
    There are two different EDItEUR standards for sending EDI Invoices. One for serial invoices, the other for non-serial invoices. The structures regarding subscription start and end dates are relevant for the serial invoice format.

    The indication of which type of invoice is being processed is in the BGM segment. If it's a serial invoice, the BGM segment has the JINV value to so indicate. If the JINV is absent, then the invoice is processes as a non-serial invoice.

    Here is the BGM segment from the Harrassowitz invoice you are working with:

    BGM+380+417656+9

    Compare this with the BGM segment of the Swets invoice you cited:

    BGM+380:::JINV+5200094296+43

    From site: We are working with Harrassowitz to get this fixed on their end.

    Additional Information

    HARRassowitz subscription start/end dates are not loading into Aleph
