xxx50 ADM library not included in Navigation tree

    • Article Type: General
    • Product: Aleph
    • Product Version: 16.02

    Description:
The xxx50 ADM library is not included in lower left panel of the Navigation tree. (The xxx60 HOL library is there.)

    Resolution:
In order for the ADM library to appear in the Navigation tree for bib library xxx01 there has to be an entry like this in the $alephe_tab/library_relation:.
    ADM xxx01 xxx50.
And the user's Z66 record needs to have xxx50 as the z66_user_library. You can s+ to the pw_library and use this SQL to see:.
    SQL> select Z66_REC_KEY, Z66_USER_LIBRARY from z66;.
In the case of a single-ADM setup, the Z66_USER_LIBRARY should be that one ADM library; in the case of a multi-ADM setup, it should be blank. (Note: The z66_user_library doesn't exist in 14.2, 15.2, or 15.5. It's a parameter in the version 16 upgrade process. If it's incorrect, it's because it was specified as such in the upgrade. If you specify "cv_multi_adm_sw n", then it's going to take the "cv_adm_lib_list" value and put it in as the z66_user_library.).
If the xxx50 library appears in the tree but it doesn't show any records when there are records, that indicates a problem with the z103 links. You should do util f/3/12 for this bib record to see what links there are. If a link doesn't show up in util f/3/12, it doesn't exist.
