    Question

When moving a set of physical items to a new location, what happens to its Holding record if all the items moved to the new Holdings record?

    Answer

The "Change Physical Items information" job will delete the items' Holdings record, in case all items with the location of this holdings record are moved to another location.

    Note this advice:

The behavior is similar to the action of relinking Items to another bibliographic record. If you wish to keep the Holding Record, edit it and change the 852 first Indicator to keep it separate and distinct. Then, move the items.
