    Description

Analytics > Physical Items > Physical Details > Classification Code

Some holdings show a classification code of UNKNOWN even though a code is present in the 852$$h

    Resolution

We are not supporting the "FC" classification since it is also not supported by the Library of Congress Classification.

    See the explanation:

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Librar..._Latin_America

    it states:

"Class F does not have any subclasses, however Canadian Universities and the Canadian National Library use FC for Canadian History, a subclass that the LC has not officially adopted, but which it has agreed not to use for anything else"
