    Question

In many cases, patrons or staff will want to request multiple items associated with a bibliographic record. How is this done?

    Answer

*Alma considers that any item attached to a bibliographic record is able to fill a request unless these items are differentiated from each other
*The field Alma looks at in this case is the Description field, found in the General Information tab of the item record
*Adding copy-specific information here allows a user to request multiple items at the same time
