    Enable Citation Linker on the Primo Main Menu

    Desired Outcome Goal:
    To enable Citation Linker on the Primo Main Menu.

    Procedure:
    1. Primo > Ongoing Configuration Wizards > View Wizards

    2. Edit the View of interest > proceed to the Tiles screen > Home Page > Main Menu tile

    3. Edit the Main Menu Tile

    4. Create new entry with the following values:
    Code=citationlinker
    URL= [see #5 below]

    5. If the source data is Alma: /action/citationLinker.do?openInSeperateWindow=Y&isCitationLinker=Y

    NOTE:
    To use the CSS defined for the Services Page view, append the following parameter to the URL: &spvid=<view_id>
    To use the CSS defined for the Services Page defined in Alma, append the following parameter to the URL: &spvid={services_view_code}

    If the LinkResolver is SFX:
    URL=/action/citationLinker.do?openInSeperateWindow=Y&isCitationLinker=Y

    6. After initial save, change the label 'citationlinker' to 'Citation Linker' (or another label)

    7. Continue through the View Wizard and DEPLOY

    Additional Information

    * Applies to Primo 4.4.1 and later.
    * Citation Linker retrieves SFX or Uresolver information.
    For best results, search portions of the citation such as ISSN, ISBN or date along with a title.
    * Citation Linker Tabs can be relabeled via Primo Code Table for CitationLinkerLabels.
