Enable Pop-up (block) for patron overdue limits during loan

Question
Why are patrons with overdue items not getting blocked during loan (charge), when "Patron Limits" table has value of "1" for Maximum Overdues?
Answer
To block a loan already upon the first overdue item (or overdue recall), use the value of zero ("0") when configuring "Max Overdues".

Configuration > Fulfillment > Patron Configurations > Patron Limits
