Fiscal Period Rollover - will Standing Order, Waiting for Invoice, be part of its population?

    • Product: Alma

    Question

Regarding Standing Order PO Lines with POL status of "Waiting for Invoice" and "Partially invoiced" -- will it be included in the Rollover (Fiscal Period Closure)?

    Answer

Yes, a Standing Order is considered Continuous, and it will rollover if the Invoice Status is "Partially invoiced".

    The documentation says

The following order types are rolled over during fiscal period closure:

    • Subscription orders
    • Standing orders
    • PO lines not fully invoiced or not fully paid by the end of the fiscal period

    Additional Information

The population of the rollover PO Lines job is:

    • All active PO Lines (their status is not Closed or Cancelled)

    • Their invoice status is not "fully invoiced"

    • For Continuous (CO) PO Lines – the encumbrances will be rolled (by encumbrance or by expenditure depending on the rollover job's parameter)

    • For One-Time (OT) PO Line – the encumbrance will be rolled only if there is a remaining encumbrance and the PO Line is not fully invoiced.
