How can I let patrons use Self-Check for In-Library Use only items but leave the RFID tag activated?

We have course or technology reserves that patrons can check out for In-Library Use only. How do we let them use the Self-Check machine(s) while leaving the RFID tag activated?
Answer
It is possible to tell the self-check machine not to de-magnetize an item by doing the following:
1. Go to the Item Record.
2. Select 'Yes' for the field "Is magnetic."
3. Click Save.
