    Question

    How much disk space is required for the AutoExtract process during Ex Libris System to Alma migration?

    Answer

    Generally, the space required for Extract in each Ex Libris system is as below:
    • Aleph: about 5G per 1M Bib Records; additionally, 2G free space in TS1 tablespace per 1M Bib Records
    • Voyager: about 5G per 1M Bib Records
    • SFX/Verde/Meridian: about 2G

    This is only for an Ex Libris System to Alma migration
