    Is it possible to delete funds and ledgers with associated transactions in Alma?

    Question

    Is it possible to delete funds and ledgers with associated transactions in Alma? Attempting to do so throws the error message "This fund has transactions, You must delete them before proceeding."

    Answer

    Yes. Beginning in the November 2019 release, Ex Libris Support can perform a procedure that will delete funds and ledgers with associated transactions.

    If you wish to pursue this option, please open a support case through the Support Portal citing this article.

    Note: Ex Libris Support kindly asks that Allocation and Transfer transactions be deleted manually prior to requesting this special procedure. For more information on deleting Allocation and Transfer transactions, please see Managing Funds and Ledgers.
