An item is currently checked out to a patron, and it appears on the patron's record in the "Manage Patron Services" interface. Why does the item's status show "item in place" in Alma, and Primo indicates that the item is available?
This can occur when a process is run that changes the status of the checked out item.
For example, an item may be loaned to a patron while still being processed by the acquisitions department. If the operator receives the item or clears it from the "Receiving Department Items" list, this will clear the loan status from the item record.
