    Question

Loan and Return Receipts are not being printed or emailed to patrons, even though their respective letters ("FulLoanReceiptLetter"; "FulReturnRecepitLetter") are enabled. How to enable printing?

    Answer

    1. Confirm that the relevant Circulation Desk configuration has "Creates loan receipts"  and/or "Creates return receipts" checked.

    2. Confirm that staff click the "Done" button after loaning item(s) to the patron. The loan receipt letter is sent only after the 'Done' button is clicked, as this signals the completion of the session.

The button is located in the upper right-hand corner of the 'Manage Patron Services' screen:

    3. Confirm that staff also click the "Done" button after returning item(s). The return receipt letter is sent only after the Done button is clicked, as this signals the completion of the session.
