    Question

Analytics reports Return Date for Loans, as "1/1/1" (or: 01/01/2001"). This date is far in the past, and the loan happened later. Any explanation?

    Answer

This date ("1/1/1/", or, "1/1/2001") signifies a null date, because no value exists yet.

    Additional Information

This image shows that the loan in question is still "active", not yet returned:
