    Local fields in CZ records disappeared

    Description

    In the past we added several local fields (9XX) to BIB records in the community zone. Now we noticed that these local fields disappeared. Can you investigate why?

    Resolution

    Everybody can add fields to community zone records but everybody can also remove fields from community zone records. If these fields contain important functionality, you should not add them to CZ records, as other customers probably do not need these fields.


    Instead you should use the "Copy to catalog" function to copy the BIB record to your institution, and then you have full control over all fields added by you.
