    Question

When looking at the versions that are listed when choosing Tools > View Versions in the MD Editor, which user is shown as the "Creator" and what is the date in the round brackets after the user name?

    Answer

    Example:
The record MMS ID xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx was originally Created by import (01/01/2011 01:11:00 BST)
A member of staff modified it on 03/03/2013 while being logged in as user YXZ.

Upon editing, the original record is saved as version 1.

    "View Versions" will say:
Version: 1 Created by: import (03/03/2013)

The "Created by" refers to the user that created the original record that got saved as version 1.

The date refers to when the creation of the version was triggered (i.e. the date when the record was modified).

Then another member of staff modified the record on 04/04/2014 while being logged in as user ABC.

    "View Versions" will say:
Version: 2 Created by: YXZ (04/04/2014)
