Overdue Loan Not Getting Fines

Symptoms

Item is on loan and returned late.
Configuration is correct - TOU, Advanced Policy Configuration, Fulfillment Unit Rules; Grace Period has elapsed.
Why is there no fine on this overdue item?

Cause

Library's Open/Closed days were not defined.

Resolution

Open/Closed days are necessary for the library to compute due dates.

To check this variable:
(1) Select Alma [F2] > Fulfillment Configuration Menu
(2) Be sure to select the library in the filter for "You are configuring"
(3) Select "Opening Hours"
(4) All seven days of the week should have an Open or Closed row
