    Running an "undelete" process for ebook records

    Desired Outcome Goal:
    Create an import profile that will delete records through a vendor provided file

    Procedure:
    1. Go to Alma > Resource Management > Resource Management Configuration Menu > Import Profiles
    2. Create New Import Profile
    3. Choose Type of Repository

    On the profile details section choose:

    1. Originating System: Other
    2. Physical Source Format: MARC21 Binary
    3. Load File Source: Upload File(s)
    4. Active: True

    On normalization and validation page, choose to check using MarcXML Bib Import

    On the match profile page, choose:
    1. 035 Match Method for both serial and non-serial
    2. Merge
    3. Automatic handling
    3. Merge method: Overlay all fields but local
    4. Upon no match do not import

    Additional Information

    Once the import profile is complete, the file can be uploaded. It will place a "d" in the LDR in the sixth position, which signals to Alma to delete the record
