Users Synchronize job report: "Total records processed" - what does the number mean?

    • Product: Alma

    Question

Regarding the job report for the Users Synchronize job (sometimes referred to as the Patron Load, SIS Load, etc.):

What does "Total records processed" or "Records processed" refer to, and how does it relate to the "Total users processed" count?

    Answer

The Development team has confirmed that "Total records processed" is an internal development label, referring to the number of SIPs; this count is not relevant for customers but does have relevance for the Development team.

The report also provides the "Total users processed" which refers to the the total number of users contained in the XML file that the job ran on. This total is further broken down into categories/lists detailing the outcomes of the job:

    • Total users rejected
    • Total users updated successfully
    • Total users created successfully
    • Total users unchanged
