We are sending a resource sharing request using the BLDSS API, but getting an error of “Item being ordered is not available for the delivery format requested. Check the status message for details.” What does that mean ?
This probably means that the request format does not match what BLDSS can supply. For example, you've asked for a physical supply, but the resource can only be delivered either as 'physical non returnable' or as 'digital'. In that case:
- If you change the format as send as a request for 'physical non returnable' the request will be managed by BL as a paper request.
- If you change the format as send as a request for 'digital’ the request will be sent as a request using the format which your partner record is configured with, for example 'Encrypted Download'
