Description

When creating a new user via API which has field "Statistical Category" filled the according "Category Type" is not added automatically but remains as empty field after loading.

Resolution

The "Category Type" is set automatically ONLY when there is a Category Type assigned as "Default value". Please set one of your category types as the default category type (>Configuration >User Management >User Details >Category Types).
