    Question

    Where should the Proxy be configured -
    * In the Collection,
    * In the Service (e.g. Full-Text),
    * Or both?

    Answer

    Configuring the Proxy information on the Collection Level (top level) will influence only the Collection itself (e.g. if it has a URL, if it is a database).

    Configuring the Proxy information in the Service Level will impact everything under the Service level. That is, all the portfolios will inherit this setting.

    So, there is no need to enable the Collection level unless you have a URL at that level e.g. a database rather than a package.
