    Question

We recently activated the "PO Line - Claiming" job in Alma Production. This job is scheduled to run every day at 7:00 AM.
But the "PO Line - Claiming" job report always shows 0 records processed.
Why doesn't it indicate the no. of records processed and the no. of emails sent?

    Answer

The reason why the "PO Line - Claiming" job report always says 0 records processed in your case is because the auto_claim parameter is set to N in your Alma (Acquisitions Configuration > Other Settings). When the parameter is set to Y, the job report counts the processed records were claims were created. When the parameter is set to 'N' it means that no emails will be sent to the vendors, and no counters will be processed, only the PO Lines will be moved to 'claimed' (i.e. they will appear in the Claims Task List).
