    Question

Why is a loan allowed in Alma despite the Loan Terms of Use (TOU) having 'Not For Loan' policy set to 'true'?

    Answer

The 'Is Loanable' policy type determines whether or not loans are allowed. If the value is 'true', the item is loanable. In this case 'Not For Loan' is the policy name only and the policy value should be changed to 'false' in order to block the loan.
